Seattle Weather & Photography
Photography in Seattle outdoors for families is nothing less than tricky. Yesterday I can tell you I spent almost all day looking at the sky from my office window; then walking back to my desk and plopping down on my stability ball to refresh the page on weatherunderground.com. I was stressed out. I had 4 sessions lined up yesterday and I was sure the sky was going to drop buckets – and it did. Even after the sessions were cancelled I continued to watch the sky for the now 6 sessions I had lined up for today. The weather here changes so fast!
Later that night one of my favorite Phoenix photographers popped up on my news feed of a family session they did in the bright ever lasting Arizona sun… grrrr I was jealous.
Then came Sunday (today)… and I got to get behind my camera and met all these amazing families I missed out on yesterday and then some!
After my son went to bed I feverishly got working on my first session today. This family was a blast. I have ran into this amazing woman at the local Tot Gym but never really talked – clearly I have been missing out. She is one amazing mom of 2. Here is my first session of many mini sessions to come so stay tuned!
