A Seattle native and longtime Columbia City resident, Shelly has enjoyed watching her friends and neighbors kids grow up. “I love how I have been a part of this community so long that the kids I knew as babies are now taller than me!”
After 23 years in the industry Shelly is the “Go to stylist” for some of Seattle’s most influential men. She visualizes haircuts as architecture, each one customized to fit your face shape, texture, and hair growth patterns. “I think hair really tells you how to cut it. Everyone is different, and so is their hair. I don’t believe in fighting what it’s meant to do, but I can create some miracles.”
Her work has been spotted in Esquire Magazine, mentioned in the Sunday N.Y Times, and was recently voted South Seattle’s Best Stylist of 2015 by GO: SOUTHSEATTLE.COM
Michelle – We welcome Michelle a graduate of the Gary Manuel AVEDA Institute! After 15 years as a graphic design artist, Michelle was ready to take the leap and change her career path. She loves color & her cuts will be of THE PARLOUR’s perfect standards!
Leah – Gene Juarez Academy Graduate- Leah learned the Juarez discipline, and how the client is all that matters. She handles all hair types with ease, and is a natural artist/singer ‘Hair is another medium for art, and I love C.C!
