Engagement Photography Seattle | Jacky and Jason
For the first time as a photographer during my consult with this couple I was not sure that I would never see them again. At one point I finally looked at the soon to be groom and said… “you sure you want this?” and he said “I don’t want a photographer.” I was then absolutely sure that I would never see them again. In a day in age of great iPhone photos (I do love them) … people either love professional digital photography or don’t… and as an artist – I never felt compelled to convince people of the difference.
When I got the email that they wanted to hire me for their wedding; I was thrilled! And even more nervous than any other session / events / weddings I had scheduled – I want them to LOVE photography and rave about professional photographers… most of my clients come to me already in love with my work – I was going to have to really earn this.
During our second meeting the soon to be groom was a whole different guy – he had so many great ideas and seemed excited! SO much so that here we are with this engagement session! I am so honored and thrilled to capture this couples amazing and important day – but also had a blast with this session!
You can see it in every frame – these two know how to laugh… which means a LONG happy marriage.
