Family Photographer Seattle
As a Family Photographer in Seattle it’s important to learn a lot of different locations to meet a family. If you have a little one and MANY of my clients do – naps are number one – and a convenient location is next. After talking with this mom I learned naps were not an issue here, as I was going to get the chance to take pictures of older ‘little ones’ … but when she said, meet me at the drainage park – I was a little worried. My photographer brain kicked in and I was wondering what I was getting into when I said yes.
Like all thing in life you can’t judge a place by its name or cover. It was a great little, yes, water drainage area – turned awesome little park in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle.
I love working with older kids and I am also at time intimidated. I will be the first to admit that I believe posing is one of my weaknesses. The older they are – the more you have to pose them and like most adults we get camera shy. Working with this family was great, I asked this wonderful brother and sister to ‘just hang out and have a good time’. They did. And like any great time you can always capture that!
