At the end of the day, don’t we all just want to be happy? Joyful?

We wake up and go to our jobs. We pay bills and our taxes. We work, cook, and clean. We worry. We do life on autopilot.
I do not think we would do it if it weren’t for joy. It’s the little moments we remember that made our hearts feel light. The times that made us want to dance with our partner in our kitchen while doing dishes. It’s the joy we see in our kids when they play. We do it for the Snow Days of life.
“My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.” – Maya Angelou
If my face hurts after I am done editing a session, I know I accomplished what I set out to do. If your smile makes me smile, I told your imperfectly perfect story.
This family made me smile all the way through the seventy some photos I managed to get out of their 45-minute session. They are beautiful and full of joy. I loved getting to know them for a split second of their life.
I hope you enjoy this family photography session as much as I do.
