Family Photographer & a Ferry Ride

There’s something purifying about water. It cleanses us, and reveals who we really are. It sustains and supports life like little else on earth. Whether we take the plunge or simply take it in from afar, it leaves a mark on our souls. Photography leaves a mark on my soul. It speaks to me, and calls to me as the sea calls a sailor. Whether I’m doing a newborn session, or a session as a family photographer, my heart is always yearning for that shot that makes eyes well up and the waterworks flow because it has meaning behind it. There is meaning behind family photography, and I intend to pursue that relentlessly as your Seattle Family Photographer.
It should come as no surprise that water is one of my favorite parts about living in Seattle. The water, the rain, the ferry- it frames the city and gives us strength. This strength is reflected in this session with this stunning family. I cannot think of a more perfect backdrop to express their spirit. Family photography sessions give me the opportunity to showcase a family, and a place they love. It could be where they live, or where they thrive. Family sessions showcase a family where they are, as they are, right now and there’s no better place to do it than somewhere that you live, you frequent, or inspires you. The backdrop of the water, and the city lights of Seattle, WA fit the bill perfectly for this family session.
